The restaurant's name, "Kuebu," means "a person who has a connection with food" in Okinawa dialect. Please enjoy "happiness" along with the addictive food and drinks that the owner is proud of! We off |
The floor of the restaurant is earthen floor, and the tables and pillars are made of wood, so the overall atmosphere is clean and homey. I visited on a weekday evening, but it was full, so I recommend making a reservation by phone. I was tired of the taste and atmosphere of tourist and chain restaurants, so I was wandering around Onna Village for about an hour by car looking for a hidden popular restaurant loved by locals, and I found this famous restaurant in an inconspicuous place by chance. I think it's a good restaurant. The prices are also reasonable. ●Goya Chanpuru It was a very well-made stir-fry, and the taste, texture, and aroma were very delicious. ●Cartilage Soki It was soft and chewy, and the taste was also blissful. ●Mozuku vinegar It was chewier than the ones in hotels and chain restaurants, and the taste was probably homemade. ●Grilled Marinated Mackerel It was high quality and delicious. It came with island pickles, so I felt it was good value for money. ●Chicken Nanban It had the sweet and spicy taste that my tongue craved, and it was satisfying. ●Wheel Wasabi A crunchy whelk cut into quite thick pieces. Recommended for those who like octopus and wasabi. ●Lotus sandwiched between two pieces of fried meat Shaped like an Oreo cookie. The lotus root is crunchy. ●Habu ball Habu extract and 13 kinds of herbs give it a refreshing aftertaste. We ordered about 25 bowls for five people. The waitress's warm atmosphere and smile were also soothing. I recommend this place to those staying at hotels around Onna Village, Okinawa.
