◇1 minute walk from Takesato Station◇Fully satisfy with large yakitori and reasonably priced alcohol◎Nostalgic retro yakitori izakaya
A retro hut standing alone. With such a cute exterior, Showa de Yakitori is proud of its yakitori that is sure to satisfy you with both its taste and size, as well as its stewed offal made with carefu |
Immediately after leaving the east exit of Musashino Station, this shop is on the right hand side with your back to the station. I knew it was there but this was my first visit with three friends. When we entered the shop... it seems to have been designed with the Showa era in mind. There are posters of Candies and lots of soft vinyl dolls on display. The background music is of course similar. However, the staff are surprisingly young. There are six seats at the counter and two tables that seat four people and two tables that seat two people. We sit at a four-person table and look at the menu. As part of their second anniversary promotion, anyone who drinks more than two glasses will get their first draft beer for 200 yen, so let's start by toasting with draft beer for everyone! The snacks for this day were as follows: ・Tongue 100 yen x 3 ・Liver 100 yen x 3 ・Skin 100 yen x 3 ・White offal 100 yen x 3 ・Whale sashimi 500 yen ・Ham cutlet 350 yen ・Edamame 200 yen ・Thick omelet and cod roe 350 yen ・Bacon salad 350 yenThe Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) is very large for the price and quite delicious. I think it's the second largest in this area after Ichinowari's Nagasan. The liver was also very delicious and had no smell. The whale sashimi and ham cutlet were also delicious, and the food was of good quality for the low price, so I think it was a good value for money. On the other hand, as for the alcohol... After the draft beer, I went for a Mega Beam Highball and then a Maker's Craft Highball, but it was too weak and not very tasty. So I went for a lemon sour next, but that was also quite disappointing. I feel that I'm not as satisfied with the alcohol as I am with the food. Now, about this restaurant. When we went in, the place was empty, but before we knew it, it was full. It's popular. As mentioned before, the food is reasonably priced and delicious, with a focus on Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). The alcohol is disappointing, but the prices are generally reasonable, and I think it's a good place to have a drink while snacking on Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). When I asked the waiter how old he was when we were leaving, he said he was born in 1989. That's not the Showa era! (lol) Thank you for the meal.
