This tempura Tempura has been in business for over 100 years in Ginza. It is located in Ginza, but on the second floor of an old building. There is no signboard and the inside of the restaurant is small, giving it the feel of a cheap Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) or small restaurant. It doesn't completely cover the ingredients, but rather feels like the batter is just sticking to them. This is because the batter sinks into the loose flour when deep-frying, and they probably make use of this. It is also characterized by the use of tuna and small fish, which are Sushi toppings. I prefer to eat it as Sushi, but this is also quite good. Lately, dishes like anago donburi (conger eel rice bowl) seem to be popular for lunch. This long-established Tempura restaurant, run by a fourth-generation chef, still shines brightly.
