The crabs are prepared in a spectacular manner right in front of the customers. This is a restaurant specializing in the exquisite live crab cuisine where you can enjoy the whole crab.
This is the second location of the live crab restaurant "Kitafuku," where you can enjoy not only various cooking methods such as boiling, grilling, sashimi, and shabu shabu, but also watching a whole
...crab being butchered right before your eyes. Just like the first location, this special space has only three private rooms, where you can enjoy freshly butchered crab dishes and gorgeous Kyoto cuisine made with carefully selected seasonal ingredients, along with wine. Another great thing about being at a specialty store is that you can also taste rare parts of the crab, such as the rare "golden crab," also known as the phantom crab, and the hidden delicacy "fundoshi."
