Chaya Nihonbashi is a Japanese Japanese-style meal Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) with a relaxed atmosphere and elegant interior. This time, I enjoyed the chicken nanban, seared sawara, rolled omelet, and chicken wing Gyoza / Dumpling. The chicken nanban was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and went perfectly with the tartar sauce. It was fried perfectly, with a light texture. The seared sawara was moist and fatty, with a savory roasted flavor. The fresh fish flavor spreads with the soy sauce-based sauce, leaving you satisfied with every bite. The rolled omelet has a fluffy texture and a strong flavor of dashi, making it a dish that lets you feel the quality of the ingredients. The chicken wing Gyoza / Dumpling has an exquisite combination of the delicious chicken flavor and the crispy texture of the Gyoza / Dumpling skin, and the moderate spices will whet your appetite. Overall, the food was well-balanced and simple yet delicate in flavour.
