The concept of the fried dishes at Chisen is to simply enjoy the deliciousness of seasonal ingredients that arrive from the market and production areas. This is made possible by the frying method that locks in the flavor within the batter. The skewered fried dishes are crispy and can be enjoyed without feeling heavy in the stomach, allowing you to eat until you are full. Please experience the four seasons of Japan with all your senses.
SpaceZen Temple Style Store Design
The interior of the store, modeled after a Zen temple in the ancient city of Kamakura, Japan, was created 40 years ago. You can enjoy a relaxing time while experiencing the excitement of having your food fried right in front of you.

I visit the market almost every day and listen to the voices of the brokers. A few times a year, I visit producers to hear about a variety of ingredients. Through these experiences, I have created Japanese cuisine and fried dishes using carefully selected ingredients that cherish the four seasons of Japan. Please enjoy!
