I went there for a men-only social gathering on a weekday evening in April 2024. This is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located right near the north exit of JR Hachioji Station. It's on the 9th floor of the building right in front of the north exit (there's a pachinko parlor on the first floor), and you can get there by elevator. It advertises itself as a "robatayaki-style izakaya specializing in authentic fresh fish, charcoal grills, and seafood Izakaya (Japanese-style bar)," but it is a casual, down-to-earth Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). The restaurant is equipped with both large and small private rooms, so we were able to enjoy our sociable time in a private room with sunken kotatsu seating without worrying about those around us. As someone who doesn't like smoking, I was happy that all seats were non-smoking. There seems to be a smoking area somewhere inside the store, so it's good for smokers too. Well, we chose the "Yutaka" course (3,800 yen including tax). This is a reasonable course that includes 7 dishes and all-you-can-drink. All the dishes were delicious. I am also grateful for the smiles and hospitality of the staff members.
