The 2022 World Cup in Qatar gets underway this weekend and all 32 teams will be flying out to compete for football’s biggest prize.
Plenty of Premier League faces will be making the journey to the Middle East as the world’s best players go head-to-head.
Manchester United will be heavily represented as they are set to have 14 of their team at the World Cup.
Which Man United players will be at the World Cup?
Cristiano Ronaldo
There’s plenty of controversy around Ronaldo at the moment but he is still a United player and will be at his fifth World Cup.
The icon will be trying to win the tournament with Portugal for the first time ever in Qatar.
Bruno Fernandes
Fernandes will also be there alongside his club team-mate in the Middle East.
The midfielder’s call-up was expected and he will play a key role in Fernando Santos’ side over the next month.
Harry Maguire
Maguire has been in and out of the United team and hasn’t been at his best this season but he was selected for England’s squad.
Gareth Southgate trusts his centre-back to perform on the international stage despite recent issues.
Marcus Rashford
The Three Lions will also have Rashford in their ranks after he was called up again by Southgate.
With the forward hitting decent form in recent weeks, his selection did not come as a surprise.
Luke Shaw
Joining his team-mates in the England squad is Shaw who has been rejuvenated this season.
The left-back scored in the final of Euro 2020 and will be out to experience similar success this winter.
Antony
Summer signing Antony will be in Qatar as he joins a stellar line-up of forwards for Brazil.
The tricky winger is competing for a starting spot as Selecao look to win their sixth World Cup title.
Fred
The midfielder was a shoo-in for the Brazilian team with his ball-winning role a vital one in manager Tite’s system.
He will likely line up alongside another of his team-mates or Liverpool star Fabinho.
Casemiro
That team-mate is Casemiro who also received a call-up last week.
The five-time Champions League winner will play a huge part for Brazil in Qatar.
