Camp Nou, which will eventually be increased from 99,354 to 105,000, has been Barcelona's home since 1957.

Most of the stadium has already been demolished, and work continues on the removal of the grandstand.

The project is expected to be ready for the 2025/26 season.

Barcelona's new home will include a retractable roof and 30,000 square metres of solar panels, with energy used to power a new 360-degree LED display.

The Palau Blaugrana, a small stadium used by Barca's basketball team and ice hockey on site, will be rebuilt, and there will also be a hotel.

Barcelona managed a 1-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao on Sunday night, with 17-year-old Marc Guiu netting his first goal for the club.
