Tottenham fans react as Brandon Austin is linked with loan exit

Tottenham prospect Brandon Austin is being linked with a possible move away from the club on loan – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter have reacted to the news with great excitement by claiming it would be a brilliant step for him.

The Daily Mail reports that Jose Mourinho’s side are willing to grant the 21-year-old a move away on loan in this summer transfer window.

It is understood that Spurs want the young English goalkeeper to gain regular first-team minutes somewhere and will allow his temporary exit to achieve that.

The report states that there are currently teams from both the Championship and League One that are considering moves to try sign him on loan.

Austin is a highly-rated talent that has come through the North London club’s youth system in recent years and Mourinho has allowed him to train with the senior squad in pre-season.

The shot-stopper played some first-team games during the last campaign for Danish side Viborg FF and could now get the chance to play for a team in England.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media believe a loan move for Austin makes sense as he could be a future star for them, as they feel his path into the first-team is blocked right now by the experienced trio of Hugo Lloris, Paulo Gazzaniga and summer signing Joe Hart.
