Adolescents have become extremely misguided while playing the game

Dhaka and are currently very popular among the young generation in Bangladesh. The warfare game Free Fire, created by the Chinese company, has now become very popular among the younger generation in the online video game of South Korean game developer Blue Whale.

But the negativity of using these two games is now being revealed by the teenage gang. Adolescents have become extremely misguided while playing the game.

Since the closure of schools, colleges, and universities due to the Karna epidemic last year, parents are being forced to hand over laptops and mobile devices to their children when online classes are introduced.
Most of this opportunity is being abused. Even the younger generation is getting addicted to these two games.

In such a situation, the Bangladesh Mobile Phone Subscribers Association has called on the government to take urgent steps to control the two games.

In a statement, , president of the organization, said that on May 21 in Chandpur, a young man named Mamun (14) committed suicide by being arrogant with his mother after not getting money to buy mobile phone data. At a time when we are relentlessly working for the next generation of young people to have access to high-speed internet, the next generation has gone astray by abusing which has made us think.

“I urge the Ministry of Telecommunications and Technology and the Regulatory Commission to take immediate and swift action to stop the misuse of these songs and to highlight the positive aspects as well as to take steps to create public awareness.”

Mentioning that a huge amount of money is going abroad in the field of such unethical games, he said that besides playing online games, virtual money transactions are being done through MMS organizations. And the state, society, individuals, and families are being harmed by this.

Violence often erupts even among the younger generation in the neighborhood. Again there are some exceptional images, such as Asian Telecom Axiata calling for big hand regional-based gaming competitions.

In that competition, four young people from Bangladesh earned 9 thousand dollars. In other words, online games could be used for proper guidance and good work, but a lot of money could be made through it.

But the number of abuses we see is about 99 percent. Therefore, I urge the government to expedite the cooperation of policies and guidelines in the management and control of this game.

However, the organization has urged the government to take necessary steps considering the overall issue, citing fears that abruptly shutting down the game could have an adverse effect on the younger generation and some could also play the game through VPNs.
