I don't usually listen to hardcore shit, but when I do it's pessimist anticapitalist shit fueled by prudish bible belt hypocrisy, midwestern desperation and angst, and a sardonic sense of humor/relief that has no shame in going 90s indie and melodic/gazy. A dark spiritual successor to the 90s post-hardcore era, as opposed to pop-punk and emo. Just my opinion. Anyway let's go out to the refinery and soak up man's arrogance. Or maybe the pig farm.
