The romance of Valentine’s Day can be felt all throughout this eclectic inspiration featuring gorgeous red wedding ideas. As a nod to Cupid, arrow heads were used as inspiration for details and design elements throughout the romantic, eclectic inspiration. A unique color palette of marsala, red, and pink created a look that would be perfect for a wedding taking place any time of year, not just around Valentine’s Day! Captured by Amalie Orrange Photography and Ashley McCormick Photography, this inspiration shoot was a part of the Develop Workshop (which I also had the pleasure of speaking at), and I can’t wait to share the beauty with you!
And a little behind-the-scenes of the workshop and the shoot from Seltzer Films…

From Amalie:
I came up with the design concept because I love Valentine’s day but wanted to do something different than the typical red roses and hearts that were associated with it. I love geometric patterns so we used the gold arrow heads to tie the entire concept together from the chair backs that we made, detail on the cake, table runner, invitations and backdrop I think it brought the entire look together quiet well. We chose marsala and gold as our accents to show a soft palette using the new Pantone color of the year, I am slightly obsessed and cannot wait to see brides use these colors!
I just love the combination of a romantic style with a bit of a boho, eclectic vibe! And the arrow heads used throughout everything are awesome- the subtle nod to Valentine’s Day is perfect, don’t you think?
So what do you think of these red wedding ideas? Would you use a color palette like this for your own wedding?
