My days go so fast. I sometimes hear someone say, “This has been the longest day of my life,” and I wonder what they mean by that.
I could understand what they mean if they are waiting to hear about a health diagnosis for themselves or a loved one, but these people are just going about their daily activities.
They live trying to make time pass faster rather than living in each moment and enjoying life. It’s as if they are wishing their life away.
I can’t do that. I cannot be on a job, at home, out running errands, out at the barn or doing anything else and hope that the time passes faster.
For me, it is always the other way around. I find myself hoping for more time. Always. I sometimes look at a clock and think, ‘How can that be?’
I need more time to do what I am doing because I enjoy my life. And, as I have grown older, I’ve realized more and more that life is so very short.
And now, with health scares within my family, I see even more clearly that our life is so fast. We can’t let it be so fast and so chaotic that we don’t enjoy our life.
Yes, we still have blessings, even with the hardships. There are blessings that I don’t yet know about. And you don’t have to look too long to see your blessings.
Do your best to trust in God and enjoy your days. Turn over all the hard times and the worries to God.
He gave us this life to enjoy it. Laughter is good for the heart and soul. The Bible tells us that a joyful heart is good medicine.
A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones. ~Proverbs 17:22.
Enjoy your days. Life is short. Laugh every chance you get. Cry only if you must. And never let others bring you down.
We all have to cry every now and then. That’s just who we are. I’ve had days where I’ve had to stop what I am doing and just let the tears flow.
That’s normal. But then, you have to get up and keep moving forward. And surround yourself with people who also enjoy life. When you do that, they support you and don’t try to bring you down.

Sometimes, I say to myself, I wish there’s at least 36 hours a day, I want to finish my painting of mom, I want to have more time at the garden, or finish crocheting the baby blanket for a grand coming (I have time, he won’t be born til Feb of next year)… I look at the clock it’s now 4:00 n almost time to go kitchen n prep dinner! Time is short now that we’re retired ftom our regular job that took most of our time…. I savor each moment that I can do what I can, I take it slowly and not rush! Life is a gift, ..take it slowly, don’t rush the music won’t last! Til next post!
