NASHVILLE, Tenn. (TND) — A former Tennessee cop who was recently fired over a sex scandal in which she admitted to having sex with several of her work colleagues is reportedly being offered $10,000 to perform at a Nashville strip club.
Ex-cop Maegan Hall and four male officers were fired from the La Vergne Police Department for having sex with one another both while on the job and off-duty, NBC News reported.
An investigation report released from the department details many of the allegations, coupled with evidence against Hall and the other fired officers. Along with the on-duty sex, several of the officers were accused of impeding the investigation by lying.
"Deja Vu Showgirls" in Nashville apparently heard about Hall's notorious allegations and wants her to perform at its34th-anniversary party this year. The club is offering her $10,000 for a couple of dances, the club's regional director Michael Durham told Scoop Nashville.
We want her at Deja Vu Nashville on March 17th. Two shows. $5,000 per show.” Durham reportedly said. “I get the moral outrage,” said Durham. “However, she is no longer an employee of the LaVergne Police Department. She can now choose what is best for her financially."
Hall became an internet meme after news of the allegations against her broke. She reportedly told other officers that she and her husband were in an "open relationship," but the validity of that claim remains in question, even if her husband has said he doesn't plan on leaving her.
No charges have been filed against any of the officers involved in the sex scandal, DailyMail.com reports, with the local district attorney's office reported saying those involved violated department policy, not the law.
Along with Hall, Sgt. Lewis Powell, Officer Juan Lugo, Sgt. Ty McGowan and Detective Seneca Shields were all fired as a result of being involved in the scandal. All reportedly had sexual relations with Hall, and some even shared explicit texts and images over text with her.
OfficersPatrick Magliocco,Gavin Schoeberl and Larry Holloday were also suspended for allegedly having illicit relations with Hall, but were not fired.
The investigation into Hall began afterLa Vergne Mayor Jason Cole received a tip that she was having sex with other officers while on duty.
Officers Powell, Lugo, McGowan, and Shields all ultimately admitted to having sex with Hall when questioned and pressured during the investigation, the department's investigation report says. Hall reportedly also admitted to the sex.
The report also details that several officers were worried about Hall's mental health, along with her heavy drinking.
Magliocco reported knowing that Hall unloaded her weapon and dry fired the gun at her head ‘so she could hear what it sounded like," the report says.
Hall has yet to respond to Deja Vu Showgirls's employment offer, Scoop Nashville reports.
