Weekend Recap ( A little late)

This weekend was my Dad's birthday and we flew to New York to surprise him! On Friday night, we stayed in Nashville and went to the Beer Garden in East Nashville. I got the Falafel burger with goat cheese and I can say it was right up my alley!

Saturday morning early we left for New York to carry out the plan. Once we got to the house we walked up the entire driveway in order to not make a peep, and then rang the doorbell. My dad was so surprised he didn't even know what to say! We spent the rest of the weekend celebrating!
We walked the High Line, an old railroad track turned into an above ground park!

We went to a Beer Garden.

We ate at a great restaurant, One if by land, Two if by sea.
We went to the Yankees/Mets Game.
I was truly exhausted when we made our way back to Nashville on Sunday night. What a great weekend!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm sure you have all been looking at the website CurrentlyObsessed for months now {and I'm late in the game} but I've just started getting hooked! I know, I know, just what I need- another website to keep up with. Here are some of my favorite items that I saw today:

Wedding Weekend!

Another weekend, another wedding down. This weekend we were in Oxford and we had such a great time at Beth and Kyle's Wedding.
Friday, we started off at the post rehearsal dinner party at the Library.

Saturday, we had a girls brunch/patio session at Bouree.

Saturday evening we headed to the gorgeous ceremony and reception site! We had a blast at the wedding and the weather was perfect!

Sunday before driving back to Nashville we ate breakfast at Bottletree Bakery. Blake got a HUGE cinnamon roll that was delicious!

Random Mix

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today is going to be a random mix of things going on because I have been way too busy lately and managed to take no photos this weekend!!  We had a going away bbq for a friend on Friday who is moving to Atlanta. I love that the weather has been cool enough at night to have a bbq, but hot enough during the day to get a tan! We also went canoeing with a huge group. It was some much needed fun in the sun! Instead of taking the normal 3 hours to get down the river, it took our group almost 6! {with many stop along the way}. We finished up the night with some Mexican and a house party. On Memorial Day, Blake and I decided to have some married time and make barbecued ribs and corn on the cob. During the day I had to catch up on the tons of Bar Review homework that had been piling up all weekend! We of course finished up Monday night with the Bachelorette! This is by far my favorite season yet and I truly think Emily is doing everything she can to find a real relationship!
So here is to a short week. I know that it is going to fly by! I am looking forward to going to Oxford this weekend for a wedding. The weather looks great and I know the bride is elated about it!!

Wedding Recap: The Rehearsal Part II

After the rehearsal ceremony, we headed over to the Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club for our rehearsal dinner! We started off with a cocktail hour overlooking the water and then moved into the main room for a delicious sit down dinner! There were a ton of speeches and everyone there really meant a lot to us.
It was such a wonderful night before our big day! On a side note, I've been getting a lot of questions about where I got my rehearsal dress. It is the Diane von Furstenberg Zarita dress that can be found here: http://www1.bloomingdales.com/shop/product/diane-von-furstenberg-zarita-lace-dress?ID=556138&cm_mmc=Froogle-_-n-_-n-_-n.
