Home to the Crown Jewels, Yeoman Warders and the Tower ravens, the world's most famous fortress has served as a royal palace, prison, armoury, and even a zoo since its commission in 1066 by William the Conqueror.
Crown Jewels Exhibition includes a staggering 23,578 jewels with an estimated value of over £20 billion! Dazzling gems, many of which are still in use today and were used in King Charles III coronation, these include the 105.6 carat Koh-i-Noor diamond, the Imperial State Crown worn by the monarch for the State Opening of Parliament, the Cullinan, and Coronation Regalia used for the coronation of Elizabeth II in 1953.
Yeoman Warders, affectionately known as Beefeaters, have guarded the Tower since Tudor times and are recognised as a symbol of Britain the world over, they are placed throughout the visitor route to tell tales of torture and intrigue. Join in a Yeoman Warder Tour, included with your ticket, to hear tales of torture, intrigue, treachery, imprisonment, execution and more, all delivered in the Yeomans' unique style!
The Tower Ravens are amongst the most famous sights at the Tower of London. Tradition states that that the kingdom and the Tower of London will fall if the six resident ravens leave the fortress. Today there are seven ravens at the Tower (six with one spare!) - Jubilee, Harris, Gripp, Rocky, Erin, Poppy and Merlina - who are cared for by the specially-appointed Ravenmaster. Task little ones with spotting the ravens who are free to roam within the Tower walls.
The Royal Beasts Exhibition tells the tale of the wild, exotic creatures held captive by kings and queens at the Tower for over 600 years. Learn more about their story from the fascinating interactive exhibit included with your ticket.
The Line of Kings is the world's longest-running visitor attraction. See impressive displays of royal arms and armour, life-sized figures of kings and wooden horses, Henry VIII's magnificent tournament armour, and more.

Visitors 16 years and over require an adult ticket.
There is no on-site parking but you can be dropped off or collected at Lower Thames Street which is a 2-minute walk to the Tower of London. Please note that the Tower is within the congestion charging zone.
Accessibility:
A ticket-holding disabled guest can be issued a free carer ticket upon presentation of relevant documentation.
The Tower of London is a historic building with difficult passageways and stairs making wheelchair access limited. There are a large number of steps with cobbles laid in some surfaces and pathways.
Wheelchairs are available for hire on a first-come, first-served basis.
Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available both inside and outside the Tower.
Baby Facilities:
Pushchairs and buggies can be left at any of the three on-site buggy parks (£1 returnable deposit).
There are unisex baby changing facilities in various areas of the Tower.
Other Facilities:
You are welcome to take a picnic which may be eaten in the Tower's moat area.
There are five themed gift shops at the Tower of London, offering a wide range of souvenirs and mementos.
Please note there are no lockers or luggage holding facilities available at the Tower.
Booking and Ticket Information:
When you buy online you will receive an email containing your ticket. Please print your ticket or present on your smartphone or tablet at the Tower of London on the day of your visit.
Tickets are available to purchase online up to 11.45pm the day before the intended visit.

Tower Hill is a car-free zone and there is no on-site parking. Parking in the surrounding area is also limited.
By Train
Tower Hill station is the closest tube station to the Tower of London (5 minute walk). Other nearby stations include Aldgate, Aldgate East, Tower Gateway, Monument, Bank, London Bridge, Fenchurch Street (10 to 15 minute walk).
