Paraglider falls into Tehri lake during training, rescued by SDRF
Dehradun: A 26-year-old man from Nainital was rescued by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) on Thursday after he fell into Tehri lake during a paragliding training session.
Rishi took off from Pratapnagar and was heading towards Koti Colony using the parachute when he lost his balance and fell into the lake.
An SDRF team headed by chief constable Rakesh Rawat rushed to rescue Rishi using a speedboat as he was about to drown in the lake.

He was pulled onto the boat and brought to the shore safely.
Due to the high number of tourists coming to the area, an SDRF team is stationed near the lake.
