Actress Yvette Nicole Brown, 53, celebrated her wedding to Anthony Davis in a beautiful ceremony held on Saturday, December 14, at The Maybourne Beverly Hills in Los Angeles. The event was attended by 200 guests, including close friends, family, and her Community co-stars.
In an interview, Yvette expressed her joy and confidence about marrying Anthony, saying she felt no nerves and knew he was the right person for her. For the special day, she wore a stunning mermaid gown designed by Ines di Santo, while Anthony opted for a custom brown suit by Vinny’s Custom Clothes.
Yvette shared an emotional moment as her brother, Paris, walked her down the aisle in place of their father, who has Alzheimer’s disease. Anthony’s sister also stepped in during the ceremony, as both of his parents had passed away. Yvette described the experience as deeply touching, noting that although it wasn’t the family they had hoped to have for those roles, it was still meaningful to walk down the aisle surrounded by loved ones.
In a heartfelt surprise, Anthony arranged for Yvette’s father to attend the ceremony, coordinating with his care facility to make it possible. The gesture added an extra layer of sweetness to the already special day.
The wedding guest list featured Yvette’s former Community castmates, including Ken Jeong, Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Gillian Jacobs, and Jim Rash, adding a touch of nostalgia to the event.
Yvette and Anthony’s love story began in their twenties when they first met but later lost touch. They reconnected in 2021, and their relationship quickly blossomed into a lifelong commitment.
The couple’s wedding was a celebration of love, resilience, and family, making it a memorable day for everyone in attendance.
