Alumnis of Biophysics Department of Panjab University join in for a reunion bash

What was initiated as an effort to re-live the golden days of student-hood has acquired great heights. For the old 'young' lads of the department of Biophysics Department, Panjab University, it was their zeal, backed by happy-go-lucky attitude that allowed this wondrous alumni meet.
At the reunion bash of the department, attended by a 100 alumni, the atmosphere was charged.From cracking jokes to remembering bygone days, everyone turned nostalgic. Those like Sanjeev Koul, Dr CM Pathak looked pleased to be here. "It's always great to be in the company of old pals," said Koul, a 1985 batch pass out.
Coming a long way, the students paid glorious tributes to their alma mater. High on their agenda was discussing the 2014 celebrations because that's the year when their department will turn 50. "We are looking at our great golden jubilee celebrations," said Koul, "Connecting with each other while helping the department is what we are doing. We also plan to guide current students by organizing programmes... our way of giving something back to the society."
