It has been a while since the Denver Broncos have made the playoffs and they are set to face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17 on Saturday, December 28 at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati. The game will be televised on NFL Network at 4:25 p.m. ET and fans can also catch it on DirecTV Stream. Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix had a limited presence in the Broncos' Thursday practice and fans have wondered if he is still reeling from his back injury. So, the big question is, will Nix play in the game this weekend?

Will Broncos QB Bo Nix Be Playing In Saturday’s Game Against The Bengals?
Yes, Bo Nix will most likely play in the game this weekend. Nix is not listed on the injury report this week, so unless there are any new setbacks, he is on track to play on Saturday. The quarterback was seen applying a heating pad to his back during the fourth quarter of Denver's face-off against the Las Vegas Raiders a few days ago. As per reports, Nix suffered the injury on his second touchdown pass of the game to Courtland Sutton.
Nix has played in all 12 games this season. With the Cincinnati vs Bengals game likely to be played in the rain and wind, the pressure is riding high for Nix since he struggled under bad weather in one game last season, which also happened to be one of the most unfortunate seasons for the Broncos. But expectations are high when it comes to the former Oregon Duck who’s responsible for two of the five best fantasy QB performances against the Chargers this season.
Nix himself does not seem to be concerned with the weather predictions. “If you’ve played football, you have play(ed) in the rain,” the QB said. “We’re excited. I thought we ran the ball well against the Jets that day. We’re going to have to carry that over [and] have an open mindset and do whatever’s working.” “We’ll be able to handle the rain. We’re professionals, and they have to play in it too. It’s going to be good. It’s going to be a good environment. It will be fun,” he added.

Luckily the forecast has now changed with AccuWeather calling for “occasional rain” with 7-20 mph wind gusts and reports suggest that the heaviest rain will hold off until after the game. The game against the Bengals is a great opportunity for Nix since he can explore his chops against the Cincy offense.
Last Thursday, during the game against the Chargers, Nix protected the ball well and he has also managed five interceptions in a two-game stretch. Another clean performance by Nix and things could look up for the Broncos.
