Located in Darjeeling, West Bengal, Tiger Hill is one of the best places to watch sunrise. This is in fact one of the main things to do for tourists coming to Darjeeling. You can trek to the place from Ghoom, or can also take a car. Tiger Hill offers unmatched views of the majestic Mount Kanchenjunga, and the coveted Mount Everest. If you happen to visit on a clear day, you can even see Kurseong towards the south.
The speciality of this place is that it is the southernmost tip of peninsular India, and so watching sunrise from here is definitely a magical experience. In fact, it is a beautiful spot for both sunrise and sunset, as watching first rays of the sun is an experience that is quite something else.
