Rohit Chandel to make Hollywood debut with his next; shares screen space with American actor Usman Ally -Exclusive

Actor Rohit Chandel is delighted to join the cast of the Hollywood movie Ryder, which also features American film star Usman Ally. Rohit was last seen playing the role of Dhaval, a hero in the family drama Pandya Store.
He said: I'm happy that after acting in Indian TV serials and Bollywood films, now I shall be shooting for a Hollywood movie. The movie is to be filmed by Nick Satriano and produced by Gerard Lima and will go on floors by 2025.I'm playing the role of Raj. My audience will explore a new side of me as an actor. I hope to receive the same love and support as before.
He continued, "For the last one and half years I was trying my luck in the Western showbiz industry. But meanwhile, the Pandya Store happened. They already had my profile and I was approached for this film which will be shot in India, in fact, Mumbai itself. It's an ensemble cast of Indian and American actors. I'm also excited to enjoy the opportunity to work with some very well-known action directors. It's an action, adventure, crime movie."
He also revealed how he draws inspiration from the Western film industry.
He shared, "I remember watching the film trilogy, The Godfather. I really admire the acting of Robert De Niro and Marlon Brando as Vito Corleone, and Al Pacino as Michael Corleone. Somehow, they all inspired and motivated me to enhance my acting skills. I was impressed by the way they made the characterisation. I'm inspired by them and see a future for myself in Western films. As a viewer too, I enjoy watching such films. One out of every three movies is a Western movie on my list every weekend. That’s how I keep the balance and I don’t miss any content."

Rohit earlier acted in English films like Arcadia Lost and The American Gandhi. He was also seen in the Bollywood movie Blind Game and the web series Escaype Live. He is best known for playing Baji Rao in Kashibai Bajirao Balla. He also featured in Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Chandragupta Maurya, Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai among others.
