Kullanım

Açılımı "açıklayıcı dipnot şablonu"dur ve kısaltılmış dipnot şablonunun (kdş) uzun varyantıdır. {{adş}} veya {{efn}} (explanatory footnotes) olarak kullanılabilir. En basit kullanımı {{adş|«Dipnot yazısı»}} şeklindedir.

Aynı dipnotu metinin birden fazla yerinde kullanmak istiyorsanız |name=, veya |isim= parametrelerini eklemeniz ve istediğiniz ismi yazmanız gerekir (bakınız NAMEDREFS). Gruplandırmak istiyorsanız |grup=, veya |group= parametrelerini doldurmalısınız (balınız REFGROUP).

Birden fazla 'dipnot' olabilir. Vikipedi, varsayılanı lower-alpha olarak ayarlamıştır. Mevcut seçenekler şunlardır:

Remember that "=" cannot appear in an unnamed template parameter and "|" cannot appear in any template parameter. For "|", {{!}} can be used. For "=", {{=}} can be used or the parameter can be named 1= explicitly:

You can create multiple explanatory lists by closing {{notelist}}. This is useful when adding sources to elements such as multiple tables.
