Overview

All new houses and apartments have as standard one or two Tricel Cable Boxes / ETU Box (code 220913) and these are used to solve all of your home connectivity issues.

Fibre optic caballing comes from the poles outside of your property. This cable can then travel within a duct (this case study) or overground.

Note: Existing Cable Boxes can be used for new Fibre installations.

Fibre was Installed to a House Built in 2015

In this case study, Fibre was installed in 2023 to a house that was constructed in 2015. The High-Speed Fibre on an external Pole was then connected to the Telecom pole on the property, which was connected via an underground duct to the home. The contractors ran the Fibre via the underground duct to the Tricel Cable Box (code 220913) on the house wall. The Fibre followed the duct to the electrical board. Here the contractors fitted the NBI box and connected to SKY Fibre for the client.
