You are bidding on a Vintage Large Millers Falls No 320 24" Butcher’s Meat Handsaw Saw A very Large clean Meat saw The saw was recently obtained from an estate sale. Where it was well cared for, and little use, exact age is unknown. This is a Millers Falls Co. Greenfield. Mass. No 320. 24" Butcher’s meat saw. The saw is 30 3/4" long from tip to handle end. The blade is 24" long and 5/8" wide. And I believe it is an 11 point, and weighs approx. 2 lbs. 3 ozs. I believe the saw has the beech wood handle. The saw is in good condition. The wood is solid. But has a few scratches and dings. As with the vintage of the saw, there is some light normal wear, some light discoloration spots, and a few dings and scratches, all as noted from the photos. This is a Vintage Butcher's Hand Saw which recently came from a Barn Estate Sale where it had been sitting for over 40 years. It is rusty and dirty but the blade and saw are in overall good shape for it's age. The handle is missing all but one bolt and has one chip off on one side. It does manage to stay together(I'm not quite sure how) Selling is As Is Condition. It measures 27 inches at it's longest. 6 1/2 inches at it's widest, and the Blade is 20 inches long. They don't come much nicer then this one. It doesn't matter if your a collector. Butcher, meat cutter, or deer processor. This is the saw to have. These where the best quality saws of there day and have stood the test of time. This saw will out perform any of the cheap foreign made saws of today. This saw is older then most of the people who will ever use it, an it will likely outlast us all. The Saw is made by"HOOK-EYE"A.S.CO. OWNERS-NEVER SOLD. It is a model 4R. The patent date is JUNE 1935. This saw was likely made in the late 1930's. It has a strong sturdy Bakelite handle. All the part an components are in good condition and accounted for. Vintage Henry Disston Butcher's saw. This saw is in great shape. It has been taken apart. Cleaned, rust removed, and reassembled. The brass lugs were cleaned as well. The bow has the henry disston name stamped in it. it also shows a'5. The saw is solid. Sharp, and usable. Not sure how sanitary it could be, but it is from a different time. From the shape and font on the stamp I would estimate that this saw dates from the late 1800's. Great addition to your collection for display or use. Check the photos carefully for condition. This is a nice Hobart 5614 meat saw. In great condition. And working perfect. It is however missing the lower pulley cover. As seen. This can be replaced if you choose, or used as it is with no problem. The saw has a new blade. Not yet installed. Installation is very easy. The feed plate adjustment handle and adjustment rod were replaced. And move perfectly free for smooth operation. The s lide table moves freely and locks correctly. There is nearly no corrosion on the machine. A small amount of surface rust on the working surface of the steel pulleys just from sitting, otherwise the machine is very clean. 200-230V 3 Phase. 2hp motor SHIPPING: There is a $50 charge for palletizing.
