Three different tire options are available on non-dually Ram 3500 models. Versions of the truck running 18-inch wheels are fitted with either the Firestone Transforce HT or Nexen Roadian AT Pro RA8. Those running 20-inch wheels exclusively run the Firestone Transforce AT all-terrain tire.

Any comment on general grabber atx?
If you buy a new Ram truck, Make the dealer remove the factory “Nexen Tires” and replace them. These tires are separating & defective and no warranty. We just replaced at 8000 miles. Not good on a towing vehicle…
Absolutely AGREE !! 100! The nexen tires have left me stranded on the side of the road due to separation with less than 15K on the tire. These tires are terrible. I’ve had two warrantied and wonder why they bother. Had to remove mine at less thank 35,000 miles after 2 replacements. TERRRIBLE !
Same experience here, both front tires deformed and blew up from inside out. Ram knows of the issue and so does Nexen. Nexen blames Ram for missplacement of tire and Ram does not accept responsibility. In my case Dealer replaced my right front cause it blew up before the year and at 7000 miles. The left one I called Nexen for warranty, I filled a form and sent pictures and they sent a check of $235 for the tire. It is a liability and soon there will be a huge law-suit I bet when someone gets hurt.
