TV show description:
Smart and sexy Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh (Jill Hennessy) works for the Boston Medical Examiners office and solves murders via forensics evidence and unorthodox methods. She is carefully supervised by her boss Dr. Garret Macy (Miguel Ferrer).
During the early seasons, Jordan and her ex-cop father Max Cavanaugh (Ken Howard) role-play to help Jordan profile murderers.
Others in the series include eccentric forensic entomologist Mahesh “Bug” Vijayaraghavensatanaryanamurthy (Ravi Kapoor), kind Lily Lebowski (Kathryn Hahn), wise-cracking criminologist Nigel Townsend (Steve Valentine), and energetic detective Woody Hoyt (Jerry O’Connell).
Will there ever be a crossing jorden movie to show she finds her mother’s killer
If you are going to end a show please allow the writers to end all the questions with the last show. Crossing Jordan was a ground breaker for many other shows. I will hope that someday a movie can be made that will bring all of Crossing Jordan back .
Pleae put Crossing Jordan back on tv. This show is so entertaing, i got hooked when my husband starter watching it on Netflix. Please at least tell who killed Jordan’s mother and let Jordan and Woody get married.
Jordan’s brother killed her mother,actually he was her half brother.When Jordan’s mother had a mental breakdown,her father left the young child in the care of a couple that had lost their baby. He never returned for his son. Years later Jordan was born. When the boy was 16 he found the truth,but was a already a violent kid and said he would kill the people that raised him. The next day he murdered his and Jordan’s mom,but not before forcing her to tell him that Max was not his dad.
I have been watching at least one per night since I found it on Netflix. Just reached the end of season 6 and began crying. Knowing there is nothing to follow makes me sad. I will try to find this virtual series but it isn’t like watching those good actors interact….
This is just another example of the stupidity of the NBC Excutives. How many great shows does NBC have to run through before these idiots get a clue.

I am very very disappointed that Crossing Jordan has been canceled. It was the one show I looked forward to every single time it was on and I could find it. Don’t the networks have some metric to measure the loyalty of a given shows’ followers? Don’t they have some metric to measure the value of a show as a piece of literature? Is it all numbers of viewers? Doesn’t intrinsic value mean anything???? There has been nothing like it since Orson Wells was on the radio.
