TV show description:
Based on an Australian live-action series of the same name, this animated comedy follows the lives of high-school staff members in a small Florida fishing town. As the educators grapple with their own egos, needs and personal agendas, they never lose sight of the fact that the children must always come second.
Larry Littlejunk (Jason Bateman) is the one exception and he’s been exiled to teach gym. Larry hates his last name and lost his position as science teacher thanks to a “nude” presentation by fellow teacher Miracle Grohe (Kristin Chenoweth). While hopelessly in love with the religious and barefoot Miracle, Larry’s also annoyed by her superficial grasp on science.
Other faculty members include inept English teacher and bodybuilder Ennis Hofftard (Will Arnett); flamboyant and bisexual drama teacher Andrew LeGustambos (Nick Kroll); suicidal German instructor Willard Deutschebog (Henry Winkler); and underappreciated librarian Helen Klench (Cheri Oteri).
The school is run by the hypocritical Acting-Principal Sue Sezno (Kenan Thompson) and Assistant Principal Stuart Proszakian (Will Forte). Stuart makes a practice of raiding students’ lockers for drugs so that he can use them himself.
Cleaning up after the whole mess is Muhannad Sabeeh “Happy” Fa-ach Nuabar (Tom Kenny), the custodian who speaks only in Arabic and knows more than he lets on.
