Stayed here for a week. A very convenient location, roughly halfway between the railway station and St. Mark’s, and easily accessible from the Alilaguna stop at Madonna dell’Orto for travelling to and from the airport. The location seemed slightly more residential than some, with plenty of decent restaurants around, many frequented by locals. Our room in the hotel annexe (with easy access to the breakfast area) was clean and well-appointed. The staff (reception, housekeeping, restaurant) were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant (under the name Osteria Santa Fosca) was good on the one evening we ate there. A buffet breakfast is served there from 7.45 am (and on the day we had to leave early for the airport a ‘breakfast box’ was provided) – nothing special, but a perfectly adequate start to the day. Would recommend as a good value option.

We didn’t stay at this hotel, just made a reservation for a table on the rooftop terrace for drinks. We had a wonderful time! Our table was at the front of the terrace overlooking the grand canal. Such a fantastic view, especially being able to see the Rialto bridge! It was a beautiful sight once it got dark, with everything lit up on the canal. We had a nice cold bottle of Rose Prosecco, and beers. They provided complimentary nuts and crisps which was a nice touch. It wasn’t too busy up there, but the atmosphere was nice and chilled. Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, definitely worth a visit. It was a nice treat for us at the end of our trip. Thankyou.

We left the hotel at 7 o'clock in the morning, and the hotel breakfast started at 8 o'clock. I asked the front desk staff the night before that we couldn't make it in time for breakfast, and the gentleman said he would prepare it for us. The next day, each of us received a large bag of breakfast, including yogurt, juice, biscuits, cakes, and fruits. There were so many of them that we couldn’t finish them. We had to throw away the ones we couldn’t bring into the security check, which was a pity.

The hotel is very convenient to Venice's main attractions and can be reached on foot, but Venice's transportation is more expensive. You can only take a water bus from the train station to the hotel. The train station takes a taxi (boat) - 5 minutes to the hotel pier, and the public pier is at the hotel entrance, very convenient. This time the room was divided into the top floor with a terrace. It is said to be the only one. It is simply unparalleled scenery and enjoyment. I have been to Venice before, but I never thought I could enjoy the skyline of this beautiful city like this. I really hope to stay in this room next time. The hotel breakfast room also shocked me, walking up the grand staircase through the gorgeous hall, immediately reminiscent of the marquis and ladies who had been here all day long hundreds of years ago. Compared with the environment breakfast itself is a bit inferior, but it doesn't matter. There are delicious things everywhere, and this environment is rare. Dinner is also enjoyed at the hotel, the price is not expensive, and the taste is much better than the restaurant outside, I think it is not easy to find a decent restaurant in Venice, rather than wasting time recommending hotel dining.

We had a very nice 3-night stay at the Venice Times Hotel. The location was perfect, the staff was friendly and courteous, the breakfast staff were exceptional, the room was very nice, bed was comfortable and shower was powerful. The coffee was good, and the breakfast, although plentiful with many choices and very tasty, was exactly the same every morning. It would have been nice to mix it up a little. We would have rated this hotel 5-stars if it weren’t for the bathroom. It is very narrow and almost impossible to turn around in. The shower did flood, but putting a rolled up towel on the floor prevented that. Even those two flaws were workable, but the steps leading to the bathroom were not. There was no handrail and could were dangerous, especially when the stairs got wet. Be very careful.

Except location, everything is excellent and I’ll rate 10/10. The campus is really nice , rooms are excellent , staffs are polite. There is a restaurant, mini market within where you can get almost all basic items . How I can forget about the swimming pool where you can chill in a hot summer day. I booked the hotel for 3 days but I wish iI could stay there for more days. The only problem is you need to walk 1.5 km to nearest bus stop from where there is direct bus to main attraction Venice city centre.As I don’t have any problem in walking 1.5 km , it is not a problem for me.
