United City FC’s struggles continued in the AFC Champions League after suffering a 5-0 defeat at the hands of host BG Pathum United Thursday, April 21 in Pathum Thani, Thailand.
After conceding the opening goal shortly before halftime, United City unraveled as the defending Thai League 1 champions put up four in the final 45 minutes that resulted in a third successive loss.
It was the worst setback for United City since its ACL campaign began last Friday at BG Stadium, thus dropping to the bottom of Group G.
