Abstract

In this paper, we build a cloud storage platform with HBase for storing and analyzing big data of medical records and improve the performance of importing data into database. The data of medical records are stored in HBase database platform for big data storage. It also can compute through Hadoop MapReduce for HBase database to do distributed computing or cloud computing to process medical records, and to provide functions, including keyword search, data filtering, and basic statistics.
