Little-traveled outside its home country, Lekić’s 1973-set drama outlines the roots of the Kosova crisis, examining early tensions between Kosovo Serbs and Albanians.

Sort of like “Chocolat” with bras instead of bars, Halim’s Malay-language romantic comedy examines the liberating impact of a women’s-only lingerie shop on a repressed, conservatively religious village.

“Old Fox”

“Melody”
