Vashon Island Strawberry Festival
What started over 100 years ago (1909) has become the most popular attraction on Vashon every year. Held the third (or mid) weekend in July every year, the festival is full of booths from local artists and various vendors with the addition of food, a street dance, pancake breakfast and parade including the famous Vashon Thriftway Shopping Cart Drill Team.
