vietnam war collage

I chose these pictures for my mural because i felt they depicted the devastation and magnitude of the war. It shows how the Vietnamese used every available person to fight. In the one picture you see a Vietnamese woman carrying a gun and in another there is a young boy hiding in a ditch with a gun and a dog. This collage expresses the loss felt to America as well as Vietnam. It shows a man standing at the Vietnam memorial wall. He is standing in front of the names of all the men that died next to him in the war. This mural also shows the unusual and rough terrain that Americans were fighting on. We weren't used to this area and didn't know the land. This put us at a major disadvantage since the Vietnamese knew it very well.
