PSE&G crews are repairing a damaged gas lamp that has long created a dark stretch of sidewalk between Harmon Road and Village Green Court. An 87-year-old woman was injured when she fell in the dark on the sidewalk there on Thanksgiving.

Maplewood Police Chief Albert Sally told Village Green, “The suspect in custody has no history or contact with the Maplewood Police Department.”

The decision relates to suits by 3 former CHS students who were abused by Nicole Dufault. Dufault was arrested in 2014 and pled guilty to aggravated criminal sexual contact in 2020.
