NVIDIA will be hosting its CES 2025 keynote in just a few hours, unveiling its next-gen GeForce RTX 50 "Blackwell" Gaming GPU lineup.

NVIDIA To Bring Its AI-Supercharged Blackwell GPU Architecture To Gamers At CES 2025 With The Next-Gen GeForce RTX 50 GPUs

Out of all GPU manufacturers out there, it is NVIDIA that maintains the most secrecy with its next-gen GPU lineups, as until now, we haven't seen the firm "officially" disclose its upcoming RTX 50 "Blackwell" series consumer GPUs, despite being just weeks away from launch.

Twenty-five years ago, we launched the first GPU, the GeForce 256, and on Dec 12th at 8:00 pm PT we will begin to preview the future! • GeForce LAN 50 (Online & In-Person 50 Hour Gaming Marathon): GeForce LAN is a fan favorite celebration of PC Gaming. In 2011 aboard the decommissioned USS Hornet aircraft carrier in California. NVIDIA hosted this legendary three-day GeForce LAN party which featured hundreds of gamers who brought their systems, played games around the clock, competed in awesome tournaments, and won a ton of prizes. Gamers have asked for a return ever since.

Now, GeForce LAN is back and going global starting at 4:30pm PT on Jan. 4th through Jan. 6th for 50 hours of gaming, contests, prizes, and more. On its official X account, Team Green has validated its presence on the CES 2025 floor and revealed that the firm will celebrate two and a half decades of "GeForce Experience" with widespread prize pools and a dedicated LAN event.

The post doesn't specifically mention SKUs within the RTX 50 series GPUs, but with Team Green officially verifying the CES 2025 keynote, we can say for sure that the company has confirmed the debut of next-gen GPUs at the event, given the record of announcements on CES show-floors. Moreover, lines such as "Before we look into the future" clearly hint that consumers should expect NVIDIA's Blackwell consumer GPU series to be showcased at the event.

Interestingly, NVIDIA will also celebrate 25 years of GeForce in style, calling it the "GeForce Greats" event where the company will initiate a public campaign of "joining fun gaming debates" for prize pools.

Along with this, Team Green will also be holding a global gaming festival, the "GeForce LAN 50", where fifty here represents the duration of the event (in hours), so the stars are aligning to show that the release of next-gen GPUs is imminent. NVIDIA has its own unique way of marketing its products, and instead of just explicitly uploading a teaser, the firm leaves the clues for the audience to figure out.

We also get to see another potential teaser of what the next-gen GeForce RTX 50 "Blackwell" GPUs might look like. It looks like NVIDIA might still follow the dual-fan flow-through design in a sleeker shroud compared to the last generation as seen below:

We should also mention that the Witcher IV cinematic shown during TGA 2024 was rendered on an unreleased GeForce RTX GPU which should be part of the next-gen family. The cinematic was made using Unreal Engine 5 and you can check out more about that here.
