After police escort to game, Milton Middle School brings home championship

MILTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — Difficult to say whether the support led the team to victory, but a little support never hurts.

With lights flashing and sirens blaring, the Milton Police Department escorted the Milton Middle School football team to its Cabell County middle school championship game at Huntington High School.

The Milton team didn’t disappoint.

According to a post Thursday on the police department’s Facebook page, the Milton team bested Huntington Middle School, 19-14.

“Congratulations, Panthers, you make us all proud,” the police department said.
