Alabama's Bellingrath Gardens transforms with 3 million lights for holiday season

THEODORE, Ala. -- Christmas is less than two weeks away and you can now get into the spirit at Bellingrath Gardens!

They have 3 million lights on display at the home in Theodore, Alabama.

Bellingrath Gardens is open all year -- but now it's transformed for the holidays.

You can check out the lights, enjoy hot cocoa, smores, and even take a picture with Santa.

"You'll start your tour from the admission building and you can go and tour the home as well which are decorated in all Christmas." Bellingrath Gardens Marketing & Public Relations Manager Cassidy Smith said. "Along the way, there are tents for beverages and snacks, even some Irish coffee and live choirs as well."

The lights will be up through Jan. 3. But Bellingrath Gardens will be closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.
