This homecoming show will be a bittersweet moment for one of the pilot's.
This is Commanding Officer Captain Brian Kesselring's last season with the Blues.
Kesselring's flown with the Navy for 22 years. Now he's reflecting on his time with the team.
"The fantastic thing about it is it's cool to fly demonstrations and these fast jets are beautifully painted back here and represented our services but it's even cooler to work with these teammates," Kesselring said. "No doubt about it, we have 141 personnel who are supremely qualified and dedicated to this team and that'll be the toughest thing that I'll miss is having that second blue angel family."
Kesselring says he'll miss the blues and the community but he's excited for his next adventure.
Kesselring and his family are heading to Iwakuni, Japan where he'll take over an airwing.
