I fully understand that Jessica Giljam-Brown is not a medical doctor or medical practitioner and I am not here for medical diagnostic or treatment procedures.

The services performed by Jessica Giljam-Brown are at all times restricted to consultation on the subject of nutritional matters intended for the maintenance of the best possible state of nutritional health, and do not involve the diagnosing, prognostication, treatment of prescribing of remedies for the treatment of disease, or any act which will constitute the practice of medicine in which a licence is required.

I understand that should my prescription pharmaceutical medicine change that I will need to book an appointment to review this change with Jessica Giljam-Brown, or I will otherwise inform my GP or Pharmacists of the Natural Medicines that I am also taking.

It has been fully explained to me by Jessica Giljam-Brown that in prescribing certain remedies (nutritional, herbal, etc) to restore balance and/or rectify possible nutritional deficiencies, and that some slight risks to taking that which is prescribed, may be in the form of a reaction to possible unknown allergies or similar. If such should occur I should stop taking them and call Jessica Giljam-Brown to obtain further advice as to dosage or modification of the remedies.

Cancellation Policy for Treatment

It is a requirement that you provide a minimum 48 hour notice of cancellation or change of appointment. Last minute cancellations of a pre-booked appointment unfortunately causes significant problems running the practice. For almost every short notice and missed appointment, there was someone else who needed our help but was unable to get in.

Late cancellation fees do apply for less than 48 hours notice of appointment postponement, cancellation or missed appointments. I understand that there are times when you are unable to make your appointment, so to make it fair on everybody, please make note of the following:

If you cancel within 48 hours 50% of your appointment fee is non refundable, and if cancelled within 24 hours 100% of your appointment fee is non refundable.

I have to make it a firm rule, with only a truly exceptional reason being sufficient to avoid the charge.

If you give us 48 hours notice or more, then of course, there is no charge at all. You can contact me via email or phone to change or cancel your appointment.

Refunds

Refunds can be given if cancellation takes place BEFORE 48 hours before the consult. A charge of $8-15 will be taken off your refund as a processing fee.

No refunds are offered for packages for change of mind or ending treatment early.

Payment Terms

Payment for supplements is to be made prior to supplements being shipped or given to you.

Payments for online bookings must be made to confirm your appointment spot. If payment is not received 24 hours prior to your online appointment it may be given to a client on the waitlist.
