I am so sorry I have not updated - life got in the way.

I had my beautiful baby girl - and she is perfect.  Cara Regina was born on August 11, 2014 at 12:49 pm.

I was induced at 39 weeks.  I went into the hospital on Sunday August 10th at 7 pm and they started the induction.  I was contracting and in active labor by 2 am.  By 8:30 am I finally got the epi but of course as it does in many cases it slowed down my contractions and progression of labor so they had to give me Pitocin.  They checked me at noon and I was already 10 centimeters and ready to go.  I pushed for 5 minutes and she was out - she came out with a full head of dark hair.

 

She has been such an easy baby and really only cries when she is hungry.

 

We had her christening on September 28th and she slept through the whole thing.

 

We also just celebrated her first holiday which of course was Halloween.  Colin went as a monkey and she was a banana - again she slept through most of Halloween as well.

Colin is a great big brother - it did take him about two weeks to get adjusted to having a sister.  Those first two weeks were really rough but now he is so protective of her and loves her so much.

We are truly blessed and our family is now complete.

I am back to work now so I may actually have more time to blog - so I hope to keep this updated now for anyone who still reads it.
