    On the whole I found the museum enjoyable but there is an element of self righteous superiority with regards to descriptions on some of the exhibits. It’s fashionable today to suggest that we should be ashamed of some of our history because it doesn’t fit with todays attitudes. This is nonsense & really goes to show that those with that attitude have only a very narrow view & understanding of our history. It’s questionable as to weather holders of such views should be involved in the creation & running of a museum. I can’t pass up the opportunity to comment on the exhibit involving the “Gollywog”. That exhibit demonstrates quite clearly that bigotry is not exclusive to just one side in the problem of racism.
