Niall Murphy, also known online as Pyrocynical (or simply Pyro), is an English commentary YouTuber. He was previously acknowledged as one of the early adopters of well-known commentary formats, such as the use of colored borders to separate video clips displayed during videos.
Currently, Niall posts a variety of commentary and analysis videos to his channel, particularly those with content that relates to trends. He makes fun of PewDiePie's fanbase, the Bro Army, by jokingly referring to his audience as the "Bruh Army" on occasion. Even an ASCII drawing of the Brofist, which PewDiePie first used in his descriptions at the beginning of his career, could be found in most of his descriptions.

Although Niall started his YouTube channel in 2013, he didn’t start posting videos on it until 2014. These videos were mostly mock MLG montage videos, for which he later claimed to be embarrassed.
On October 30, 2015, “IT’S JUST A PRANK BRO” - a commentary-style video that marked a clear departure from the montage parody content - was posted on Niall’s YouTube channel.
“How to pizza” is the first video Niall uploaded on his channel. In the video, he makes a meme video of the popular series The Breaking Bad.
In 2019, Niall’s content combined commentary, gaming videos, and hot topics. Additionally, he has started to engage with people more frequently in skits. The biggest of these was a Reddit video that featured a variety of Despacito memes.
By 2020, however, there were significantly fewer commentary videos available. As of 2021, Niall’s content consists primarily of in-depth analyses and reviews of video games, television shows, and films, with a small number of uploads of commentary videos.
He has stated that the first and second channels will each have a weekly upload by November 2021 and that he will be concentrating more of their content output on Twitch. He declared in January 2022 that he had established a VODs channel for streaming archives.
Pictures of Niall’s face were leaked to Twitter by DramaAlert host Keemstar from his personal Facebook page before his face was revealed. Keemstar, however, asserted that the picture he tweeted had already been leaked onto Twitter and Google Images and that he had never disclosed any information from Niall’s personal Facebook page.
Niall unexpectedly posted a face reveal video on October 12, 2016, titled “who I’m voting for president (face reveal),” mocking the Casey Neistat scandal surrounding the 2016 US presidential election. Since the reveal, he has added his appearance to almost every video of his, again switching the format.
Despite the fact that their personalities are very different, Niall used to receive frequent criticism for being a “LeafyIsHere clone” because of how similar their content was. Niall’s response was to belittle himself and resemble Leafy more by using clickbait and content that was more positive than Leafy’s. Despite all the drama, Niall and Leafy kept their friendship and made a joke appearance on DramaAlert with an insult battle from the playground.

Ivory Rasmus, a Twitter user, claimed on October 29, 2020, that Pyrocynical "groomed" him when the latter was 15 and Pyrocynical was 19. Ivory claims that Niall sent him a variety of offensive materials, including fetish videos and drawn NSFW.
On November 10, 2020, Niall posted a response to the accusation on his subreddit. He didn't deny the conversations occurred, but he did say that they were only engaged in "fantasy roleplay" and that no grooming or sexual imagery was ever exchanged, which Ivory also acknowledged.
In a response video he released on December 18, Niall rejected the claim that he was a groomer, admitting that it was negligent of him to play sexual roleplays with Ivory without first confirming his age, and apologized for it.
