Lots of nominations by HeminKurdistan

[edit]

The user @HeminKurdistan seems to be adding dozens of items to this page, despite many of them clearly having links to notable databases. StarTrekker (talk) 19:02, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

For example I don't really understand why the book about the Alps by Kamal Eleanz (Q110733987) was deleted?StarTrekker (talk) 19:18, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question: is the item creator notified of deletion requests?

[edit]

Question: is the item creator automatically notified of deletion requests? It doesn't appear so. If yes, good! That's smart! If no, why the hell not? -Animalparty (talk) 02:07, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Animalparty When using the gadget, the item creator is automatically mentioned in the edit summary (which causes a notification, if the user has them enabled). —‍Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 18:08, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Items for disambiguation pages from former surnames

[edit]

Are items for disambiguation pages where all the external site links have been moved to a seperate item for a surname instead be deleted? If yes, I would like to nominate Grīnbergs (Q15857855) for deletion. But that's only if it's not notable. Sabelöga (talk) 01:43, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The German article is a disambiguation page and should be housed on that item, not the family name item. I know that it is essentially a family name article, but the German Wikipedia (and many other Wikipedias) doesn't make that distinction. —Xezbeth (talk) 04:22, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
