- Comment Example does not work. Also formatter URL seems to be very long.--Jklamo (talk) 14:39, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
- Comment I've fixed the example. Also amended the filter, since the example has only 3 digits. I'm having some difficulty working out how to ascertain the ID number from the website. If http://www.parlament.hu/aktiv-kepviseloi-nevsor is a list of members, their URLs do not match the above pattern - e.g. http://www.parlament.hu/aktiv-kepviseloi-nevsor?p_auth=1CF9Kzh6&p_p_id=pairproxy_WAR_pairproxyportlet_INSTANCE_9xd2Wc9jP4z8&p_p_lifecycle=1&p_p_state=normal&p_p_mode=view&p_p_col_id=column-1&p_p_col_count=1&_pairproxy_WAR_pairproxyportlet_INSTANCE_9xd2Wc9jP4z8_pairAction=%2Finternet%2Fcplsql%2Fogy_kpv.kepv_adat%3Fp_azon%3Da716%26p_stilus%3D%26p_head%3D gets us Ander Balázs, but there's no sign of a bnnn ending to the URL. --Tagishsimon (talk) 23:07, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
- Comment My bad, I did not know the example had to be a proper link, and the person adding the link after me made a mistake. Indeed, the formatter link is very long, but this is the minimum number of parameters needed for the page to work. When putting together the formatter, I took as a starting point the link on http://www.parlament.hu/aktiv-kepviseloi-nevsor, removed all optional parameters, and moved the id parameter to the end to make reading the link easier. --Tdombos (talk) 00:46, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
- The length of the formatter ID is what it is; it is not a problem, so far as I can see. What is a problem, for me, is to be shown a place on their site where I can see the IDs. Clearly your example works, and I accept the strong probability that there is a useful key value ... but until I can see it, I cannot support ... when I can, I'll be voting in favour since it is entirely appropriate to use such an ID on wikidata. --Tagishsimon (talk) 11:14, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- In the link you provided, the id is a716, look for the parameter p_azon.--Tdombos (talk) 15:11, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
- Support As example fixed and more examples provided.--Jklamo (talk) 14:33, 19 March 2018 (UTC)
- Support: the formatter URL is a bit long, but it doesn't seem to matter. Nomen ad hoc (talk) 16:26, 16 March 2018 (UTC).
- Question: Do these IDs/URLs continue after the MP has left office? The general consensus these days seems to be against creating properties unless they're persistent --Oravrattas (talk) 18:04, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Oravrattas: They do: m777 for Péter Medgyessy (Q156487). – Máté (talk) 07:04, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
- Great. Then it's Support from me. --Oravrattas (talk) 19:05, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

- Support: I've been meaning to propose this for a while, I've just got scared of the URL each time, but it is what it is. (I did trim it a bit further.) – Máté (talk) 07:10, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
