Machine Robo Rescue (出撃!マシンロボレスキュー) was a Japanese anime television series and toyline from Bandai.
In the future, age is not a factor to determine whether someone can perform a certain task, but special talent and training. An organization, Machine Robo Rescue (MRR), was established for robots and children to become partners and rescue people from danger. Then 12 children with various abilities were selected and introduced as part of the program: Robo Rescue!
Life as one of the children chosen as part of MRR has started for Taiyo Ozora. Bumpy and difficult training is just ahead for the MRR team in order to protect many people's lives.
Characters
The 12 Kids were divided into 3 teams depicting their field of rescue:
-Red Wings
- Taiyo Ozora (大空 太陽 Ōzora Taiyō) - Master of Jet Robo & Shuttle Robo; aerial rescue specialist. Taiyo is a "survival natural", which grants him the ability to sense danger.

- Sayuri Suizenji (水前寺 小百合 Suizenji Sayuri) - main pilot of the Yellow Gears' Gear-Dump transport; medical specialist. Is a "healing natural", which gives her the ability to instil calm to anyone she talks to; this ability isn't mentioned until episode 41.
- Ken Minami (美波ケン Minami Ken) - co-pilot of the Gear Dump; proxy Yellow Gears Robo-Master
Others were accepted but started independently:

Trivia
In what some fans call an under-handed tactic, Hasbro slapped the name Machine Robot Rescue on some recolored Transformers: Robots in Disguise toys and tried to trademark the term in an attempt to legally prevent Bandai from bringing the Machine Robo Rescue franchise to the western world. [1] [2]
