:"literally dozens" (dozen = 12 - thus dozens is a multiple of 12) out of how many? I would imagine "dozens" are investigated in most countries each year, that doesnt make it potentally any less serious.

I don't get it? This is a jewish company that helps pirates steal films and TV programs for free. Most TV and movie production is run by jewish investors and producers in the free world. Essentially this scheme means one jew robs the other, which I've heard is strictly against the Mishna and very great crime in judaism, which results in compulsory expulsion from the faith of Moses. Company Name

NDS does NOT stand for "News Digital Systems", thus the title of this topic is wrong. Try checking this on Google.

True, it actually stands for "NDS" now, but the company is best known as News Datacom still. --21:55, 9 September 2005 (UTC) Unsigned comment by User:Kiand
News Datacom is not acceptable as the title for this article. It is officially NDS Group plc, as such I have moved it to NDS Group. Moving it to News Datacom is like moving British Airways to BOAC (what it was called in 1974). Mark83 00:54, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I moved it to the name thats most commonly used, which is the usual procedure - find any satellite box maker that doesn't use the term "News Datacom" as the 'friendly' name for Videoguard's CA provider ID.
Not asking for it to be moved back, mind. I didn't move it to NDS as thats a disambig page and assumed this would be the best possible alternative. --Kiand 19:34, 7 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
So did the company acronym at least originally stand for "News Digital Systems"? Maikel 10:04, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'd guess it means "News Datacom Systems". --Kiand 13:17, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your input, but according to the folks over at NDS it's News Digital Systems. Maikel 15:15, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"News Digital Systems" is indeed correct.Briefnexact 03:25, 20 April 2007 (UTC) Briefnexact[reply]

scanning electron microscope ?

Can someone explain this ? As far as I understand ... if it's on the smart-card (and it's needed by the box) the reader will read it eventually.

When attempting to extract information from a card that isn't available to a box, you can't just use a reader. And you generally destroy secure microprocessors generally fuse themselves if you attempt to use them in the 'wrong type' of reader anyway. --Kiand 16:50, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

scanning electron microscope - Availability

A google search with the terms "scanning electron microscope unit university" suggests almost every university has one in their biology department. 81.99.206.182 (talk) 06:50, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Nds color.jpg

Image:Nds color.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Echostar Lawsuit

I added Echostar lawsuit, "Echostar is suing NDS (Provider of BSkyB Condition Access service) for $1 Billion for damages for piracy and copyright infringement of the Echostar Viewing card codes and for aiding the distribution and supply of pirate Echostar viewing cards for the Echostar owned Dish TV" http://www.rapturetv.com/news_article.php?News=20 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.114.76.186 (talk) 20:34, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tax evasion investigation

I think this subject should be removed; literally dozens of companies are investigated for tax evasion in Israel yearly - if they haven't been indicted, it means absolutely nothing... 79.182.177.251 (talk) 17:04, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
