I am Russian (you can see, that my English is just horrible). I contribute mostly to scientific, sports and Soviet people-related topics. Special attention is always to the article about Samantha Smith (the link is in bold not only because the article is featured and has already been on the Main Page). My dream is to go to the place, where she was buried and bring many, many flowers there. Simply because she was the angel.

This user is a member of WikiProject Soviet Union, a WikiProject which aims to expand coverage of the Soviet Union on Wikipedia.

I am Russian (you can see; my English is not so good). I contribute mostly to scientific, sports and Soviet people-related topics. I pay special attention to the article about Samantha Smith. The link is in bold because it is a featured article and it is has been on the Main Page. My dream is to visit and place flowers on her burial place. She is an angel.

My rights in Soviet times

I have none of them at the present time, although some of them are mentioned in the current constitution.

At least the following rights were indeed provided to my parents by 1936 Constitution of the U.S.S.R. and to me by 1977 Constitution of the U.S.S.R. (we weren't CPSU authorities :)))

 • right to education, free of charge on all levels (including university level, with grants for students who learned well)
 • right to medical treatment free of charge
 • right to work - no of my parents and their friends or relatives were unemployed
 • right to rest and leisure, with full pay vacations and accomodations to rest homes or sanatorias, supplied by Trade Unions, annually.
 • right to dwelling - provided by 1977 Constitution, none of my parents or relatives were (or even theoretically could be) homeless in Soviet times.

Respect/credits

... (sorry if I've forgotten somebody)

Username origin

My username is the Russian word Старт written in Latin alphabet (Latin "m" looks like handwritten form of Russian "т", other letters look like corresponding Russian letters), it translates into English as Start.

Status

I'm leaving Wikipedia. At least for a pretty long time. Because I'm disappointed at it. That's all.

Lyrics of a song, which I liked

This is included here just because I like it, after I've seen lyrics of a nice Chinese song on the userpage of User:Mandel.

It is called Accepting you into Young Pioneers, lyrics were written by N.Dobronravov. The song was very popular among Soviet Young Pioneers. However, I'll not create an article about this, as well as many other songs, popular in the past, in the foreseen future, because a good English translation does not exist or is not known to me.
