This username is the Russian word Старт written in Latin alphabet (Latin "m" looks like handwritten form of Russian "т", other letters look like corresponding Russian letters), it translates into English as Start. Cmapm is a Wikipedian since November 28, 2004, when he had made an edit to the article about Valentina Tereshkova. He was pretty active since then, having more than 5000 edits currently. In the English Wiki Cmapm contributes mostly to articles on gymnastics. Sometimes he also edits and creates other sports-related, Soviet people-related and generally scientific articles, paying a special attention to the article about Samantha Smith at the same time. His dream is to visit and place flowers on Smith's burial place in Maine. She is an angel. Among articles, created by Cmapm, are Hedgehog in the Fog, Young Guard, Gymnastics at the 1976 Summer Olympics, Young Pioneer Palace and Sovetskiy Sport. He also uploaded some images both into Wikipedia and into Wikicommons. Thank you for visiting my user page. First of all, I want to say, that I consider Mademoiselle Sabina at least the best friend of me, although I have never seen her or her photos in real life. She is very nice at everything.

Do not try to find me by this nick anywhere in the rest of the web: I use it only here, in AIM and e-mail.

In Wikipedia Cmapm met many users, who helped him a lot and were nice. Hence, here are the top-level Wikipedians and just fine people, in Cmapm's opinion:

Mademoiselle Sabina (gymnastics), Raul654 (WP:FA), Chris Roy (Samantha), PMA (Samantha),Denni (Samantha), Spangineer (WP:FA),FrancisTyers (WPSU), 172 (historical/political), Jonel (Olympics), Afonso Silva (WFYS), PFHLai (anniversaries),Dbenbenn (copyvio), Joke137 (cosmology),Urhixidur (asteroids), Egil (coordinates), Vmv (volleyball), ... (sorry, if Cmapm has forgotten somebody)

Having hurt Aliter and Crunch in the past, he apologized them later. In his turn, Cmapm, as well as another user, are believed to had been hurt by Mel Etitis, who had not apologized yet.

In real life I like apples, juice, to cycle, to dive, to dream, to jump, to run, to swim, table tennis, Soviet films and animated films, chess, go, paint by numbers, Rubik's cube (yeah, I am able to solve it), sudoku. I should also like geocaching if I had a GPS receiver, but do not wish to buy it solely for that purpose so far. The first book, which I had read at pre-school age, was the Mysterious Island by Jules Verne. In childhood I greatly enjoyed (not as much as playing soccer in the yard, however) reading popular science books, but now, when the science is my job, I do not read them in the free time: apart from other topics I enjoy reading fairytales very much. Contrary to the popular belief, that all students and scientists wear glasses, I did not ever need neither them, nor contact lens.

I like to listen to songs, mostly Soviet ones from the 1970s-1980s, and sometimes use Sibelius to write note by note and to listen to old melodies, which cannot be found in the web, but are available in print; I also typed one of them into my mobile phone several months ago. Wow, my personal website had over 6,000 hits in May 2006, as compared to 700 in April! The funniest thing is that those folks don't surmise, it's my website - no personal inf. there :)

I do not: drink alcoholic beverages, use narcotics, smoke. I hate pornography and racism. Politically, I never went to any elections and never belonged to any party.

In the nearest future Cmapm is going to contribute mostly to artistic gymnastics-related articles.
